What belongs on a white-label client compliance calendar for CA firms (GST, TDS, MCA)
Short answer: put only the dates small clients ask about, mark extensions in plain words, and put your firm name (and contact line) on the page. Skip niche forms that never apply. A one-pager clients can pin or forward beats a 40-row spreadsheet they ignore.
The dates that drive most client calls
| Block | What to show | Why clients ask |
|---|---|---|
| GST | GSTR-1 / IFF, GSTR-3B (monthly 20th; QRMP 22nd or 24th by state), PMT-06 / CMP-08 where relevant, GSTR-7 if you deduct TDS under GST | "When is 3B due?" is the most common call before the 20th |
| TDS / TCS | Monthly deposit due dates, quarterly statement due dates, and certificate issue dates (new 2025 Act form numbers: 138, 140, 144, 143, 131, 133) | Clients miss deposits more often than returns |
| Income-tax | Advance-tax instalments, ITR due dates, tax-audit report date when it applies | Extensions move these; show the circular in one line |
| MCA | AOC-4 / MGT-7 style filings your private limited clients actually file; note the usual AGM assumption | Only include if you have company clients |
| State PT (optional) | Telangana, AP, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Gujarat where you can verify the official date | Useful for local SMEs; omit if you cannot verify |
How to show extensions without confusing anyone
- Keep the original statutory date, then add one line: "Extended to DD Mon YYYY (CBDT Circular … / CBIC …)".
- Example still live in Oct 2026: CBDT Circular 07/2026 moved the tax-audit report to 21 Oct 2026 and the audit-case ITR to 21 Nov 2026 for non-transfer-pricing cases.
- Link or name the official source on that row so your staff can re-check in ten seconds.
What "white-label" should mean on the page
- Header: your firm name exactly as clients know it, plus a contact line (phone, email or website).
- Body: the quarter's dates in large, scannable type — not a wall of statute text.
- Formats clients use: a one-page PDF to email, an editable DOCX if staff need to add a client-specific row, and a WhatsApp-sized image for the practice group chat.
- Importable .ics: so clients who want reminders can add the national dates to Google Calendar, Outlook or their phone in one step.
You can build all of this from the GST portal and CBDT notices. The work is the checking and the formatting, four times a year.
A free national date file you can use today
Unadhi publishes a free national deadline set for Oct 2026–Mar 2027 as .ics and spreadsheet on this guides site (same files many firms import for staff trackers). Pair it with your own reminder rhythm: see the free client deadline reminder system for CA firms.
If you want the branded pack made for your firm
The White-Label Client Compliance Calendar for CA Firms (₹999/year) sends four quarterly packs with your firm name on the DOCX, PDF and WhatsApp image, plus the national .ics/.xlsx and extension updates. Files are made after checkout (not instant). 14-day refund from when you receive the first pack. Disclosure: that is an Unadhi product.
This guide is general information, not tax advice and not an official government publication. Your firm stays responsible for advice to your clients. Dates move when CBIC, CBDT or MCA publish extensions — always re-check the portal before you file.
Sources to re-check
- GST portal — GSTR-3B / QRMP due-date guidance
- Income Tax e-filing / CBDT circulars (e.g. Circular 07/2026 for audit-report and ITR extensions)
- MCA V3 filing due dates for companies you actually serve
