Campus placement fresher openings sheet: entry-level jobs at companies on Zoho Recruit and Keka, a fit column and a weekly share list for college placement cells
What you get: one Google Sheet for a college training and placement cell (or a career coach working with final-year students) with one row per open job at the companies you track, a Fit column that marks each job as Entry title, Fits freshers, Needs 3+ years or Check description, how many days ago it was published, and a direct apply link. A second tab gives one row per company with its fresher-fit openings, how many are new in the last 7 days and a Share now / Watch / Nothing for freshers status. A third tab records which job you shared with which batch, by roll number only. The jobs come from public company career pages on Zoho Recruit and Keka (plus Freshteam while it lasts). Formulas are below. The example rows are made up.

Who this is for
- Training and placement officers and placement coordinators at engineering, management, commerce and polytechnic colleges who want to see, every week, which companies near them have openings a fresher can actually apply to, outside the campus drive calendar.
- Career coaches and alumni cells helping a batch of final-year students or recent graduates.
It does not replace a campus drive or a company's own campus process. It is a list of public openings that students can apply to directly through each company's apply link.
Step 1: list the companies in a tab named companies
Put the company name in column A and its career page in column B. Many Indian small and mid-sized companies run their career page on Zoho Recruit or Keka, and the address shows it:
- Zoho Recruit pages look like
https://examplecompany.zohorecruit.in/jobs/Careers(or.com/.eu). - Keka pages look like
https://examplecompany.keka.com/careers. - Freshteam pages look like
https://examplecompany.freshteam.com/jobs.
Good places to find them: the "Careers" link on the websites of companies that recruited from your college before, companies your alumni work at, and local industry association member lists. If a company's "Careers" link opens a page with one of the addresses above, copy that address. If it goes to Darwinbox, Naukri or a page on the company's own site, the actor cannot read it; keep that company on a separate manual list.
Step 2: run the actor on the career pages
Open India ATS Jobs: Zoho Recruit, Keka, Freshteam on the Apify Store. It reads each public career page and returns one row per open job in the same columns, whichever of the three systems the company uses. To build its input from your sheet, put this in an empty cell of a tab named settings (for example A1) and copy the result into the input's JSON view:
="{""boards"": ["&TEXTJOIN(", ", TRUE, ARRAYFORMULA(IF(companies!B2:B="", "", """"&companies!B2:B&"""")))&"], ""excludeKeywords"": [""senior"", ""sr"", ""lead"", ""manager"", ""head"", ""principal"", ""director""], ""postedWithinDays"": 30}"
What those settings do, as written in the actor's input schema and code on 27 October 2026:
excludeKeywordsdrops a job when its title contains one of those words as a whole word (case does not matter), so "Senior Accountant" and "Sr. Developer" go, but "Leadership Trainee" stays because "lead" is not a whole word there.postedWithinDays30 keeps jobs published in the last 30 days. Jobs with no published date (Freshteam gives none) are kept, not dropped.- Leave
keywordsempty. Fresher jobs often have ordinary titles (for example "Accounts Executive"), so a keyword list such as "fresher" would miss most of them. The Fit column below does that work instead. - Do not use the
locationsfilter for this. A job with no location on the career page is dropped by that filter unless it is marked remote, and many Zoho pages leave the location empty. Filter by city in the sheet instead.
When the run finishes, export the dataset as CSV, then in your sheet use File → Import → Upload, "Insert new sheet", and rename it jobs. List fields become headers like locations/0, so the formulas below find columns by header name, not by position.
Free route
For five or ten companies, open each career page and copy the openings into a jobs tab with the headers company, title, locations/0, experience, publishedAt (as 2026-10-27) and jobUrl. The formulas work the same.
Step 3: build the openings tab
Create a tab named openings, put these headers in row 1 and these formulas in row 2, and fill down as many rows as jobs has.
| Col | Header | Formula (row 2) |
|---|---|---|
| A | Company | =IFERROR(INDEX(jobs!$A2:$ZZ2, MATCH("company", jobs!$A$1:$ZZ$1, 0)), "") |
| B | Title | =IFERROR(INDEX(jobs!$A2:$ZZ2, MATCH("title", jobs!$A$1:$ZZ$1, 0)), "") |
| C | City | =IFERROR(INDEX(jobs!$A2:$ZZ2, MATCH("locations/0", jobs!$A$1:$ZZ$1, 0)), "") |
| D | Experience asked | =IFERROR(INDEX(jobs!$A2:$ZZ2, MATCH("experience", jobs!$A$1:$ZZ$1, 0))&"", "") |
| E | Min years | =IFERROR(VALUE(REGEXEXTRACT(D2, "\d+")), "") |
| F | Fit | =IFS(B2="", "", REGEXMATCH(LOWER(B2), "\b(intern|internship|trainee|fresher|freshers|graduate|apprentice|campus)\b"), "Entry title", E2="", "Check description", E2<=1, "Fits freshers", TRUE, "Needs "&E2&"+ years") |
| G | Published | =IFERROR(DATEVALUE(LEFT(INDEX(jobs!$A2:$ZZ2, MATCH("publishedAt", jobs!$A$1:$ZZ$1, 0)), 10)), "") (format as a date) |
| H | Days since published | =IF(G2="", "", TODAY()-G2) |
| I | Apply link | =IFERROR(INDEX(jobs!$A2:$ZZ2, MATCH("jobUrl", jobs!$A$1:$ZZ$1, 0)), "") |
Notes on the formulas:
- Experience is only stated on Keka pages, in forms such as
1-3,4or3 - 5 years. Column E takes the first number, so0-2and1-3both count as "Fits freshers". Zoho and Freshteam rows have no experience, so they show "Check description" unless the title already says trainee, intern or graduate. Open those links and read the requirement. - "1 year or less counts as fresher-fit" is our working rule, not the company's. Change the
1in column F if your students have internships behind them. - Freshteam rows have no published date, so column H stays empty for them.
Step 4: the companies tab columns
Add these to the companies tab from Step 1, in row 2, and fill down:
| Col | Header | Formula (row 2) |
|---|---|---|
| C | Fresher-fit openings | =COUNTIFS(openings!$A:$A, A2, openings!$F:$F, "Entry title")+COUNTIFS(openings!$A:$A, A2, openings!$F:$F, "Fits freshers") |
| D | New in 7 days | =COUNTIFS(openings!$A:$A, A2, openings!$F:$F, "Entry title", openings!$H:$H, "<=7")+COUNTIFS(openings!$A:$A, A2, openings!$F:$F, "Fits freshers", openings!$H:$H, "<=7") |
| E | To read | =COUNTIFS(openings!$A:$A, A2, openings!$F:$F, "Check description") |
| F | Status | =IFS(D2>0, "Share now", C2>0, "Watch", E2>0, "Read "&E2&" job(s)", TRUE, "Nothing for freshers") |
The company name in column A must match the company value the actor returns. If a row shows 0 everywhere, compare the spelling with the jobs tab.
Step 5: the shared tab
One row each time you send a job to students: date shared, company, title, apply link, batch or branch (for example "2027 B.Com"), number of students who applied, and the outcome when you hear it. Record students by roll number, not by name or phone number, and only if you need to follow up. Student details are personal data, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 may apply to how your college keeps them. This is not legal advice.
A weekly routine that works: run the actor every Monday, import the new CSV over the jobs tab, filter companies on Share now, and send each fresher-fit job with its apply link and the last date to apply if the page gives one.
Check before you share
- Only Zoho Recruit, Keka and Freshteam career pages. Darwinbox and Naukri are not supported, and neither are jobs listed only on a company's own website or on job portals.
- Freshteam is closing down. Freshworks' sunset FAQ (checked today) says all renewals stopped on 7 June 2026 and accounts stay accessible for 90 days after the subscription end date. Expect those companies to move to another system; check their career link again if their page stops working.
- Open the apply link before you send it. A job can close between your run and the day students apply.
- Never ask students to pay to apply. A real company's career page does not charge a fee. If a listing asks for money, do not share it.
