Disclos or EURO AI Register? Article 50 for AI products vs an AI inventory for businesses that use AI

Short answer: They are built for different buyers. Disclos is aimed at founders of SaaS products with AI features, and centres on Article 50 transparency: telling users they are dealing with AI. Its pricing page (checked 24 Oct 2026) shows free tools with no signup (a penalty calculator, an Annex III check, an Article 50 disclosure generator, an SDK, a scope check and MCP servers), Monitoring at €49 a month or €540 a year with a free trial (a weekly check that your site's disclosure is still there, a score out of 100 and feature classification), and a €997 one-time audit with a human-written readiness report in five business days and 12 months of monitoring. Disclos says it is not a law firm. EURO AI Register is for small businesses that mostly use AI tools: an AI inventory, duties by role with dates and a printable Article 4 literacy record, free for up to 10 AI systems in your browser, or $19 a month for unlimited. If you ship an AI product to EU users, Disclos fits better. If you need your business's AI list and literacy record, start with ours.

The pain this page is about

Two different worries sound alike. A SaaS founder asks: “Does my AI feature need a disclosure banner for EU users?” An SME owner asks: “We use five AI tools at work; what do we write down?” The first is mainly an Article 50 product question. The second is an inventory and Article 4 record-keeping question.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Disclos cost?

Its pricing page (checked 24 Oct 2026) shows free self-serve tools, Monitoring at €49 a month or €540 a year after a free trial, and a €997 one-time audit that includes 12 months of monitoring.

What is in the Disclos audit?

Per its page: a human-written readiness report in five business days, an AI feature inventory and risk classification, an article-by-article gap report, disclosure code in 24 EU languages, model card and policy templates, a short video walkthrough and a 30-day follow-up window.

Is the Disclos audit refund still open?

Its page states the refund window as from audit delivery to 2 August 2026. That date has passed, so ask Disclos what refund terms apply to an audit bought now.

Does EURO AI Register check my website's chatbot disclosure?

No. It records your AI systems, the duties that apply by role and your Article 4 literacy measures. It does not scan websites.

When does Article 50 apply?

Article 50 transparency duties apply from 2 August 2026. After Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, Annex III high-risk rules apply from 2 December 2027 and Annex I from 2 August 2028.

Not legal advice. EURO AI Register and the Readiness Kit are record-keeping aids, not proof of compliance, not an audit and not a conformity assessment; the AI Act has no organisation-wide seal a tool can give you. If a system may be banned or high-risk, have a qualified lawyer review it. Unadhi is not affiliated with the EU or any EU authority.
