Short answer: Veritome is an EU-hosted AI governance workspace. Its pricing page lists Classify free (3 AI systems, view-only obligation list, watermarked report), Starter €79/month (€66/month billed annually; 5 systems, Article 4 and Article 50 work), Govern €199/month (25 systems, one high-risk, ISO/IEC 42001) and Manage €599/month (high-risk provider programme), prices excluding VAT, with a 30% founding rate for organisations created before 1 December 2026. EURO AI Register is free for 10 AI systems (including the Article 4 record) and $19/month for unlimited. If you are a high-risk provider or need a multi-user, EU-hosted workspace with ISO programmes, pick Veritome; if you are a small deployer who needs the inventory, literacy record and dates, start with EURO AI Register.
Why this matters now (dates (source: Regulation (EU) 2024/1689))
- Article 4 AI literacy has applied since 2 February 2025 to providers and deployers, whatever the risk level. As replaced by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, it asks organisations to take measures to support the AI literacy of their staff; it does not require them to guarantee a specific level for any individual. The European Commission's Q&A says there is no need for a certificate: an internal record of trainings or guidance is enough, and national authorities supervise and enforce from August 2026 (Commission AI literacy Q&A).
- Article 50 transparency duties (for example, telling people they are talking to a chatbot) apply from 2 August 2026 (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689).
- High-risk rules were moved by the Digital Omnibus on AI, Regulation (EU) 2026/1744: Annex III uses (such as recruitment and credit scoring) from 2 December 2027, and AI in regulated products (Annex I) from 2 August 2028.
