Octoparse alternative for Shopify and WooCommerce product and price tracking
Partner programme opening soon: join the free waitlist. Planned terms are 50% of each referred sale (75% once you have 5+ paying customers), single level, paid through Gumroad only from revenue received.
Short answer: Octoparse is a general visual web scraper for almost any site. Its pricing page lists a free-forever plan (10 tasks, 1 device, local extraction, 50,000 rows of export a month), Standard from $69/month and Professional at $249/month, both billed annually (16% less than monthly), with a 5-day money-back window on paid plans. If your job is narrow — product titles, prices, sale prices, stock and SKUs from independent Shopify and WooCommerce shops — our Apify Actor reads those shops' structured data directly, is free during launch, and you pay only Apify platform usage. For other kinds of sites, or a point-and-click builder, pick Octoparse.
The pain this page is about
You sell online and three competitors changed prices before a sale weekend. Copying 200 products by hand is not a plan, and building a visual scraper for each shop's layout takes time.

An honest limit of our Actor
Many shops forbid scraping in their terms, and Shopify's default terms do. In our own test of 32 shop URLs on 29 Sep 2026, the Actor skipped 9 shops for their terms, 2 because robots.txt hid the terms page, 5 marketplaces, 1 robots.txt block and 1 rate limit; 2 had no machine-readable products. It returned 536 products from 11 shops, and on a re-check of 88 products the title and price matched the page 88/88. Skipped shops were not charged. If you need data from shops that forbid scraping, we will not help — and you should think twice with any tool.
Who should pick Octoparse instead
- You need sites that are not shops (directories, listings, news) or layouts with no structured product data.
- You prefer recording a workflow by clicking, on your own computer, with no cloud account.
- You need scheduling, cloud runs and integrations for many different site types in one tool.
Who our Actor fits better
- Your competitors are independent Shopify or WooCommerce stores.
- You want clean product rows without building a scraper per shop.
- You want a tool that refuses shops whose terms say no, and tells you which and why.
Try it on three shops first
Actor fee: free during launch · you pay only Apify platform usage
The Shopify & WooCommerce Product + Price Tracker is a pay-per-usage Actor on Apify: you pay only for the platform resources the run uses, with no extra developer charge (Apify docs). Apify's free plan is $0 and includes $5 of platform usage a month, no credit card (apify.com/pricing). Listing pages are free in the Actor's own design, and shops that are skipped or return nothing cost nothing. We do not quote a cost per 1,000 products; run a small test and read the usage in your Apify billing page. Built and published by Unadhi (disclosure).
Free gift: copy-paste input for a three-shop price check
Read the SHOPS_SUMMARY record after the run: it tells you which shops were skipped and why. No code at all? You can also read one Shopify shop's public catalogue in your browser at /products.json for free: see how to export a Shopify or WooCommerce product list to CSV and build a competitor price sheet.
Frequently asked questions
What is an Octoparse alternative for scraping Shopify and WooCommerce products?
If your competitors run independent Shopify or WooCommerce shops, Unadhi's Product + Price Tracker on Apify reads their structured product data directly, with no scraper to build per shop. It returns title, brand, price, sale price, stock, SKU, variants and images. Our Shopify & WooCommerce Actor is free during launch; you pay only Apify platform usage, and Apify's free plan includes $5 a month.
How much does Octoparse cost in 2026?
Octoparse's pricing page, read on 14 Oct 2026, lists a free-forever plan with 10 tasks and local extraction, Standard from $69 a month and Professional at $249 a month, both billed annually and 16% less than monthly. Paid plans have a 5-day money-back window. Enterprise is custom.
How does the Unadhi Actor read a Shopify or WooCommerce shop?
It tries Shopify's products.json first, then the WooCommerce Store API, then schema.org JSON-LD or microdata, and finally a last-resort heuristic. You paste the shop URL; there is no workflow to record. The output is one row per product with prices, stock and variants.
Will the Actor scrape any shop I give it?
No. It checks robots.txt and scans each shop's terms, skips shops that forbid scraping, and never fetches Amazon, eBay, Flipkart and about 70 other marketplaces. Many Shopify shops are skipped because Shopify's default terms forbid scraping. Skipped shops are not charged, and a summary record tells you which were skipped and why.
When is Octoparse the better choice?
Pick Octoparse when you need sites that are not shops, such as directories, listings or news, or pages with no structured product data. It also suits people who prefer recording a point-and-click workflow on their own computer, or need one tool for many site types with scheduling and integrations.
Can the Unadhi Actor scrape Amazon or Flipkart?
No. Marketplaces whose terms forbid scraping, including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Etsy and Flipkart, are refused and never fetched.
Why did the Actor skip a Shopify shop?
Shopify's default terms forbid scraping, and the Actor skips shops whose terms or robots.txt say no. The SHOPS_SUMMARY record names the reason. Skipped shops cost nothing.
Is the Actor free?
The Actor charges nothing during launch. You pay Apify for platform usage; Apify's free plan includes $5 of usage a month.
Not legal advice. The terms-of-service check is an automated, English-only heuristic; you are responsible for how you use the data. Competitor prices and plans change; re-check their pricing pages before you decide. Spotted an error about any product on this page, including ours? Write to mininglife7@gmail.com and we correct it.
