November 2026 due-date chase list for CA firms: every client deadline from 7 to 30 November on one sheet
Short answer (checked 20 Oct 2026): November 2026 has twelve client deadlines on ten dates that a typical CA firm has to chase, and four of those dates fall on a Saturday or Sunday. The ones you can rely on: TDS/TCS for October deposited by Sat 7 Nov (rule 218, Income-tax Rules, 2026), GSTR-1 by Wed 11 Nov and GSTR-3B by Fri 20 Nov for monthly filers (GST portal), Form 131 certificates for Q2 by Sun 15 Nov (Form 131 FAQs), the AY 2026-27 return for ordinary audit cases by Sat 21 Nov (CBDT Circular 07/2026), and on Mon 30 Nov both the return for transfer-pricing cases and the last date for FY 2025-26 GST input tax credit, credit notes and GSTR-1 corrections (CGST Act, s.16(4)). This is a starting point, not tax advice. Confirm each date on the portal before you file.
What you get from this guide: a finished November 2026 chase plan for your whole client list. It has one table of every date with its rule and the working day to aim for, a week-by-week plan (26 Oct to 30 Nov) that puts each client request in the week before the date it feeds, a one-row-per-client sheet with one column per November deadline so a filter shows who is still open, a collect list, and five short client scripts. Copy them into your own sheet. Nothing here needs software.
Every November 2026 date, with the day to aim for
| Date (day) | What | Who | Rule / source | Aim to finish by |

| 10 Nov (Tue) | GSTR-7 (GST TDS) and GSTR-8 (e-commerce TCS) for October | Government departments and other GST deductors; e-commerce operators | GST portal FAQs on GSTR-7 and GSTR-8 | Tue 10 Nov |

About the weekend dates: 7, 15, 21 and 29 November fall on a Saturday or Sunday. Do not plan on a date moving because of the weekend. Aim for the working day before, as in the last column, and treat any later relief as a bonus.
The 30 November GST cut-off, in one line for clients: any FY 2025-26 purchase invoice whose credit was missed, any FY 2025-26 credit note not yet reported, and any FY 2025-26 GSTR-1 mistake has to be dealt with by then, or before the annual return if the client files GSTR-9 earlier. For monthly filers the October GSTR-3B is the return that carries it. QRMP clients file their next GSTR-3B only after the October–December quarter, in January 2027, so check the official source and the client's own return position before you advise them how to claim a missed credit. Do not let a client file GSTR-9 early while credit is still unclaimed.
The easy mistake this month: lumping every income-tax return into "21 November". Transfer-pricing clients are on 30 November and non-audit clients' original due date for AY 2026-27 has already passed (for their belated or revised return, see revised ITR last date and check the official source). Keep the two return dates in separate columns.
Week-by-week chase plan (26 Oct–30 Nov 2026)
| Week | Who | What to ask for or do | Tone tip |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mon 26–Sat 31 Oct | Every client | Send one November message per client with only the dates that apply to them (filter your sheet). Ask TDS clients for October payment details and GST clients for the October sales register, before Deepavali week. | "Before the festival" gets faster replies than "before the 11th" |
| Mon 2–Fri 6 Nov | TDS clients; monthly GST clients | Pay October TDS/TCS by Fri 6 Nov. Collect October invoices and credit notes for GSTR-1. Download processed Q2 statements from TRACES and start Form 131. | Send one list of gaps, not item by item |
| Mon 9–Fri 13 Nov | Monthly GST; QRMP clients with B2B buyers; ISDs; employers | File GSTR-1 (by 11 Nov), IFF and GSTR-6 (by 13 Nov). Issue Form 131 and confirm PF/ESI payment for October wages by Fri 13 Nov. | Ask for nil confirmations in writing |
| Mon 16–Fri 20 Nov | Monthly GST; audit-case ITR clients | Before the October GSTR-3B: run the FY 2025-26 credit check (purchase register vs GSTR-2B, missed invoices, unreported credit notes). File GSTR-3B by Wed 18 Nov. File and verify audit-case returns by Fri 20 Nov. | "Any 2025-26 credit not claimed now is lost" |
| Mon 23–Fri 27 Nov | QRMP clients; companies; transfer-pricing clients | PMT-06 by Mon 23 Nov. MGT-7/7A for companies with a 30 Sep AGM by Fri 27 Nov. Transfer-pricing returns filed and verified by Fri 27 Nov. | One "please sign today" message with the time slot |
| Mon 30 Nov | Internal only | Due-date buffer. For every client still open, note the acknowledgement or the written reason, and tell the client in writing what is now late. | Never file on presumed consent |
The one-row-per-client sheet
| Client and PAN / GSTIN | Applies (TDS / GST monthly / QRMP / ISD / PF-ESI / audit ITR / TP ITR / company) | Oct TDS paid (challan, date) | GSTR-1 or IFF (ARN) | Form 131 issued (date) | PF / ESI paid (date) | FY 2025-26 credit check done (Y/N, ₹ found) | GSTR-3B or PMT-06 (ARN) | ITR filed / verified (ack, date) | MGT-7 (SRN) | Owner |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Client A (example, not real) | TDS, GST monthly, audit ITR | challan no., 6 Nov | ARN, 10 Nov | 13 Nov | n/a | Y, ₹ found | ARN, 18 Nov | ack no., 20 Nov | n/a | staff name |
Put "n/a" in every column that does not apply, so an empty cell always means "still open". A filter on empty cells is your daily status list for the month.
