Complee or EURO AI Register? A done-for-you AI Act pack vs a free AI inventory you fill in

Short answer: Complee is an EU AI Act service for small businesses: you give your website, describe how you use AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot and leave an email; Complee reads your site, names your risk tier and drafts a pack with a record of how AI is used, an Article 4 record (what can go wrong, the role and the staff briefing) and, when customers meet the AI, an Article 50 notice. Its site (checked 28 Oct 2026) says the assessment is free; after a minimal or limited result the pack is €9 once, and Plus is €12 a month or €10 a month billed yearly (€120), keeping the record current and adding a live badge and public page. It says high-risk technical files are outside the pack. EURO AI Register runs in your browser with no account and is free for up to 10 AI systems: you fill in each tool yourself and get screening questions with article references, duties by role with dates, an evidence log and a printable Article 4 literacy record. If you want someone else's system to draft the pack from your website for €9, or a public badge, Complee is a good, cheap pick. If you would rather fill in your own list for free and keep the data on your device, start with EURO AI Register.

The pain this page is about

“I run a small online shop with a chatbot. I don't want to read the AI Act; I want the one-page record and the customer notice.” Complee writes them from what it reads on your site. EURO AI Register gives you the structure to write your own list, free.

A function-and-price summary in our own words, not a review. The AI Act has no organisation-wide seal; a badge from any tool, ours included if we ever made one, is that tool's own statement.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Complee cost?

Its site (checked 28 Oct 2026) says the assessment is free; after a minimal or limited result the pack is €9 once. Plus is €12 a month, or €10 a month billed yearly (€120).

What is in the Complee pack?

Its site lists a record of how AI is used, an Article 4 record and, when customers meet the AI, an Article 50 notice. It says high-risk technical files are not in the document.

When do the EU AI Act high-risk rules apply?

Under Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, Annex III high-risk rules apply from 2 December 2027 and Annex I (AI in regulated products) from 2 August 2028. Article 4 AI literacy has applied since 2 February 2025 and Article 50 transparency from 2 August 2026.

Does a website badge prove AI Act compliance?

No law gives an organisation-wide AI Act seal. A badge shows that a tool's own assessment exists; it is not an official mark. The same applies to any record EURO AI Register prints.

What does EURO AI Register cost?

Free for up to 10 AI systems in your browser with no account. Membership is $19 a month or $190 a year (plus VAT where applicable) for unlimited systems, with a 14-day money-back promise.

Not legal advice. EURO AI Register and the Readiness Kit are record-keeping aids, not proof of compliance, not an audit and not a conformity assessment; the AI Act has no organisation-wide seal a tool can give you. If a system may be banned or high-risk, have a qualified lawyer review it. Unadhi is not affiliated with the EU or any EU authority.
