Short answer: Nordis is an EU-hosted online platform that covers the EU AI Act and GDPR together: an AI inventory wizard, risk classification, document generation, an evidence vault, regulatory-change alerts and GDPR records such as RoPA, DPIAs and data subject requests, with booked expert consultations. Its pricing page (checked 28 Oct 2026) shows Basic at €0 a month for up to 3 AI systems (basic inventory, simple risk classification, checklist), Standard at €49 a month (unlimited systems, basic documentation, immutable audit logs), Pro at €149 a month (adds PDF documents, a 10 GB evidence vault, legal update monitoring and expert chat), custom-priced Scale, and a one-time Express Audit at €2,499; paid plans have a 7-day free trial without a card. EURO AI Register runs in your browser with no account: free for up to 10 AI systems, with screening questions and article references, duties by role with dates, an evidence log and a printable Article 4 literacy record. Membership is $19 a month or $190 a year. If you want the AI Act and GDPR in one hosted platform, with documents generated and expert help, Nordis does more. If you first want a free list of up to 10 AI tools that stays on your own device, start with EURO AI Register.

The pain this page is about

“We are eight people. We use ChatGPT, a meeting note-taker, an AI chatbot on the website and an AI feature in our CRM. I want them on one list with the duties that apply, before I sign up for a platform.” A hosted platform is built to run the whole programme. A free browser register gets the first list done.

A function-and-price summary in our own words, not a review. We do not repeat the customer quotes, counts or savings figures on its site. Its Pro plan includes Nordis-issued documents that, by its own description, verify a Nordis platform attestation and are not a regulatory conformity mark.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Nordis cost?

Its pricing page (checked 28 Oct 2026) shows Basic at €0 a month for up to 3 AI systems, Standard at €49 a month, Pro at €149 a month, Scale on request, and a one-time Express Audit at €2,499. Paid plans show a 7-day free trial with no credit card.

Does Nordis cover GDPR?

Yes. Its site lists GDPR records of processing (Art. 30), DPIAs (Art. 35), data subject requests and a breach register alongside the EU AI Act. EURO AI Register covers the EU AI Act only.

When do the EU AI Act high-risk rules apply?

Under Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, Annex III high-risk rules apply from 2 December 2027 and Annex I (AI in regulated products) from 2 August 2028. Article 4 AI literacy has applied since 2 February 2025 and Article 50 transparency from 2 August 2026.

Is either tool legal advice?

No. Both give a structured first assessment and records. For your own case, ask a qualified lawyer.

What does EURO AI Register cost?

Free for up to 10 AI systems in your browser with no account. Membership is $19 a month or $190 a year (plus VAT where applicable) for unlimited systems, with a 14-day money-back promise.

Not legal advice. EURO AI Register and the Readiness Kit are record-keeping aids, not proof of compliance, not an audit and not a conformity assessment; the AI Act has no organisation-wide seal a tool can give you. If a system may be banned or high-risk, have a qualified lawyer review it. Unadhi is not affiliated with the EU or any EU authority.
