Zoho Practice or a white-label client calendar? What a CA firm actually needs for client due-date reminders

Short answer: They do different jobs. Zoho Practice is practice-management software for accounting firms: client management, tasks and recurring tasks, timesheets and billing, documents, workpapers, workflow automation and WhatsApp integration, with a client self-service portal on Premium. Its India pricing page (checked 22 Oct 2026) shows Standard at ₹2,950 per organisation per month billed annually (₹3,540 billed monthly) and Premium at ₹8,950 (₹10,740), each for up to 5 users, extra users ₹400 per user per month billed annually, a 14-day free trial, and free access for Zoho Finance partners. Our White-Label Client Compliance Calendar is not software: it is four quarterly packs (DOCX, PDF, WhatsApp image, .ics, .xlsx) with your firm's name on them, for you to send to unlimited clients, at ₹999 a year. If you want to run your firm's work on one system, pick Zoho Practice. If you only want a branded due-date calendar for clients, start with the calendar; many firms could use both.

The pain this page is about

“Clients phone every month asking when GSTR-3B or TDS is due, and some still miss it.” Practice software organises your team's work on each client. A client calendar puts the dates in front of the client, under your firm's name, before the quarter starts.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Zoho Practice cost in India?

Its pricing page (checked 22 Oct 2026) shows Standard at ₹2,950 per organisation per month billed annually or ₹3,540 billed monthly, and Premium at ₹8,950 or ₹10,740, each for up to 5 users. Extra users are ₹400 per user per month billed annually.

Is Zoho Practice free?

For Zoho Finance partners, yes: the page says Authorized and Advanced partners get Standard features free and Premium partners get Premium. Others can take a 14-day free trial.

Does Zoho Practice send due-date calendars to clients?

Its plans list client collaboration, recurring tasks, WhatsApp integration and, on Premium, a client portal. The pricing page does not describe a ready-made, branded statutory due-date calendar for clients, so ask Zoho if that is what you need.

Is the ₹999 calendar a subscription?

It is a yearly licence sold as a Gumroad membership, so it renews yearly unless you cancel. Year one covers four quarterly packs, starting with your first pack.

Can I use both?

Yes. Many firms could track work in practice software and still send clients a branded quarterly calendar.

Not legal advice and not tax advice. The calendar is an independent reminder list, not an official government publication; your firm stays responsible for advice to clients.
