The Registration Fees list shows 0.5% for a sale. A gift deed to a relative is 2% stamp duty, and 5% to anyone else. Worked example (illustration only)

A flat with a declared price of Rs. 50,00,000 and a market value of Rs. 55,00,000: duty is charged on the higher figure, so 5% of Rs. 55,00,000 is Rs. 2,75,000 stamp duty, and the 0.5% registration fee is Rs. 27,500. Add transfer duty and charges the SRO confirms.
